applications of any manufacturer in the world. Rapid is also the only supplier in North America
to manufacture the transformer and rectifier at the same facility. This assures that the complete
transformer/rectifier system is tested as an integral unit, thereby allowing for a smooth start-up.
Our power supplies are precision engineered and are self-contained in a heavy gauge steel
enclosure. Liquid (mineral oil or silicone) or dry transformers are both available. The rectifier
may be air cooled, closed loop liquid cooled or indirect liquid to water cooled. Each power
supply is designed precisely for the application, site conditions and individual customer
specifications. Rapid's power supplies are used around the world for a variety of applications
including Electrowinning and as "booster" rectifiers to existing systems.
