Medium Power Conversion Systems (MPCS)

Rapid Power Technologies manufactures medium power rectifier conversion systems for major industries worldwide. These Industrial systems are classed as Medium Power Conversion Systems (MPCS) and consist of four (4) major categories. They are Elevator or Crane power supplies, medium size Electrochemical Cell power supplies, Strip Line Plating and Cleaning power supplies, and General Purpose power supplies.

Power Specification Ranges of MPCS include:

Input Voltages: 208 VAC to 13.8 kV
Input Frequencies:25, 50 and 60 Hz
Output Voltages:6 VDC to 1000 VDC
Output Amperage:100 Amps to 30,000 Amps per system
Power Range:1 kW to 2 MW

The Rapid MPCS are an integrated system consisting of the main transformer, the rectifying means and the control means (if required). The MPCS are cooled by natural convection, internal fan(s) or liquid-cooled.
